Posted by Canon SLR Camera | Nikon SLR Camera

Here’s a quick demo of the difference between using a Nikon D700 with and without the Nikon MB-D10 battery pack/grip. The Nikon D700 is loaded with a 32GB SanDisk Extreme memory card. The MB-D10 is loaded with eight Energizer Lithium Ultimate AA batteries. The MB-D10 can also be used on the Nikon D300.

Coool. I’m getting that for my D700. I’m also thinking of getting the extended battery so I don’t have to load the AA’s in there.

How many shots can you squeeze off before it starts slowing down?

Cool demo, was this in jpeg mode or raw mode or both? i have the lexar 300x compact flash card and i get about 15 shots in raw mode with small jpegs before it starts to slow down. Is there a difference with a 600x card?

May I ask how they are “Very Expensive” at only $1 a piece? I pay $80 for 1 battery for my camera.

Awesome demo, to the point, no BS. Thank you! Showed me just what I came to see. Does the 8fps work with the other batteries, the Nikon ones?
